EllaZ has a growing number of full text books she is glad to display for you, both fiction and non-fiction, ancient and recent. She will show you her booklist if you ask. She can also show you a particular Act or Chapter as in, "please show me Chapter XXII of Steep Trails." And EllaZ knows that "XXII" is "22." While reading a book, you may also say "chapter 8 now" to jump around in the text, or go on to the next chapter you are reading. Also, while you are reading Ella will politely wait an hour or two before interrupting you with more chatter. It is rather remarkable that a 500 hundred page book like Kant's The Critique Of Pure Reason can be routinely loaded into a text box on a browser. Here is a sampling from the growing list of full text books Ella has available: A Tramp Abroad, by Mark Twain (Samuel L. Clemens) Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (The Millennium Fulcrum
Edition 3.0),
Emily Dickinson (selected poems),
Hacker Folklore (from The Jargon File, Version 2.9.10), Much Ado About Nothing, by William Shakespeare South: The Story Of Shackleton's Last Expedition (1914-1917) Steep Trails (California-Utah-Nevada-Washington-Oregon-The
Grand Canyon), The Critique Of Pure Reason (translated by J. M. D.
Meiklejohn),
The Republic (translated by Benjamin Jowett), by Plato
The above is just a partial list. You may ask Ella to see the full book list. Is your favorite missing? Please let us know. | ![]() | |
