QUESTION:
What keyboard commands and other shortcuts can help?

ANSWER:
Learning, reviewing, editing, and adding Memos can be very repetitive. A number of keyboard commands and other shortcuts can make these activities more efficient and productive. They are so useful, we include them as one of the program "Help" menu items.
 
Most AIVault program features can be accessed with the keyboard. The "Tab" key may be used to select any button, then the "Enter" key will press the button. The "Alt" key will show underlined letters on the menu items, and those letters can be pressed to select specific items or expand menu lists. The menus can also be navigated using the arrow keys.
 
Function keys:
      "F1" reminder that "Help" is a menu item (Alt+H).
      "F2" Memo notes, learning status, related dates, etc.
      "F3" edit/move/copy the displayed Memo.
      "F4" copy displayed Memo for pasting into a new Memo.
      "F5" analysis of MemoData.txt and/or MemoData.ail files.
      "F6" program and computer performance information.
      "F7" your overall learning progress.
      "F8" chart of scheduled review dates for all Memos learned.
      "F9" chart of days between scheduled reviews for Memos.
      "F10" this page on keyboard shortcuts.
      "F11" for a list of Questions and linked files for Memos being browsed.
      "F12" contacts, system, and other information about AIVault.
 
Escape key "Esc" closes charts and any windows with a CLOSE button.
 
While browsing Memos (or editing one of them):
      "Alt+Right Arrow Key" to go to the next Memo.
      "Alt+Left Arrow Key" to go to the previous Memo.
 
To click the YES and NO buttons:
      "Shift+Spacebar" to select YES.
      "Ctrl+Spacebar" to select NO.
      "Enter" to select YES.
 
To click the ADD and SKIP buttons:
      "Shift+Spacebar" to select ADD.
      "Ctrl+Spacebar" to select SKIP.
      "Esc" to select SKIP.
 
To click the PASS and FAIL buttons:
      "Shift+Spacebar" to select PASS.
      "Ctrl+Spacebar" to select FAIL.
      "." on number keypad to select FAIL.
 
To click the SHOW ANSWER button:
      "Shift+Spacebar" to select SHOW ANSWER.
      "Ctrl+Spacebar" to select SHOW ANSWER.
      "Enter" to select SHOW ANSWER.
 
To click the CONTINUE button:
      "Shift+Spacebar" to select CONTINUE.
      "Ctrl+Spacebar" to select CONTINUE.
      "Enter" to select CONTINUE.
 
With the edit form displayed:
      "Tab" and "Shift+Tab" to move from box to box.
      "Esc" to select CLOSE.
      "Alt+O" to open image or audio when file name box is selected.
      "Alt+X" to remove font and line formatting from Question or Answer text, when the Q or A box is selected (has focus).
 
Many typical text editing shortcuts can be used in the Memo edit form, including "Ctrl+A" to select all text in a text box., "Ctrl+B" for bold, "Ctrl+C" for copy, "Ctrl+I" for italics, "Ctrl+U" for underline, "Ctrl+V" to paste text, "Ctrl+X" for copy/delete, "Ctrl+Z" to undo text changes, and "Ctrl+Y" to redo.
 
Other keyboard shortcuts:
      "Alt+C" starts a chat conversation with Ella.
      ";" semicolon at start of chat text produces a definition.
      "Ctrl+D" deletes the displayed Memo from its folder.
      "Ctrl+F" to search Memo texts, notes, and file names.
      "Ctrl+N" to add new Memo folder, with files and sub-folders.
      "Ctrl+Q" safely and completely close AIVault program.
      "Ctrl+S" save a Memo shown in the edit form.
      "Alt+F4" close AIVault, leaving restart icon in the taskbar system tray.
